Coming to St. Max for Lent!
At some point everyone wrestles with life’s big questions – questions about hope, purpose, meaning, and love. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explores the basics of Christian faith and addresses life’s big questions in light of that faith.This Lent at St. Max’s, we will offer Alpha in a way that is convenient for you:
- Watch short clips or ½ hour long videos (you choose which) at a time and a place that is convenient for you.
- Meet with other parishioners once a week, again at a time and place that is convenient for you.
Discussion sessions scheduled as follows:
Monday evenings – 7:00pm-8:00pm, virtual (discussion only)
Tuesday evenings – 7:00pm (video, viewing); 7:30pm-8:30pm (discussion),
in the parish hall
Wednesday evenings – following Stations of the Cross,
in the parish hall (discussion only)
Thursday afternoons – 12:30pm (video viewing), 1:00pm-2:00pm (discussion)
in the parish hall
Friday evenings – 7:00pm-8:00pm, virtual (discussion only)
Saturday mornings – 10:00am-11:00am, virtual (discussion only)Regardless of where you are at in your faith, Alpha is a great opportunity to meet new people and explore faith together in an open, informal environment. And inviting those you know to join you is an easy way to encourage your friends and family to grow in faith together!
