Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Dominican Friars have been proclaiming the truth of God’s Word for over 800 years in order to bring Catholics and those who have drifted from the Faith into a personal encounter with living Christ Who reveals the unconditional love of our heavenly Father. The Christ-Lock mission is a unique, grace-filled evangelical moment in the life of parish led by Fr. Bill Garrott, OP which aims to help parishioners enter more deeply into the love of the Holy Trinity and experience God’s merciful touch through the Sacraments.
______Fr. Bill Garrott was born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland. He is the youngest of eight children. He received a bachelor of science in chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. Fr. Bill entered the Order of Preachers in 1988 and was ordained for the Dominicans in 1994. He is a member of the Province of St. Joseph whose headquarters is based in New York City. He has a master’s degree in spiritual theology from the Angelicum in Rome. He has served as a parochial vicar, campus minister and director of vocations, and has preached over 200 parish missions throughout the United States and Canada using his musical abilities. Fr. Bill is currently assigned to St. Dominic Priory in Washington, DC.
